Call for Entries – Senator Obong Bassey Albert @ 50 Essay Competition

The Senator representing Akwa Ibom North East and Chairman, Senate Committee on Petroleum Resources, Obong Bassey Albert (OBA) turns 50 on the 28th October, 2022. 
His constituency office’s committee on Educational Empowerment is inviting submissions from eligible students to partake in an essay competition to herald his Golden Jubilee Celebration and promote academic excellence. The competition aims at aggregating the thoughts of young Akwa Ibom persons and enhancing their knowledge of developmental issues. The essay will be centered on the youths and their role in nation-building.

The title of the Essay is: Unlocking the Potential of the Youth for Economic Development.
The essay should reflect on the title, discuss prospects and challenges, and make recommendations where necessary.

All entries must be submitted electronically before the 15th of October, 2022.
