Senator OBA joins other party faithful as Divine mandate campaign berths in Uruan LGA

Anny MICHAELSDistinguished Senator Bassey Albert (OBA) ,Leader of Akwa Ibom PDP Caucus in the National Assembly  was one of the top personalities that graced Gov Udom Emmanuel ‘s campaign held at the council headquarters  in Idu, Uruan LGA on Tuesday.Addressing the people, Senator OBA lauded Gov Udom Emmanuel for the development efforts in Uruan especially the construction of Mbiaya Uruan – Le Meridien stretch. ‘He also commended the Governor for some of the industries sited in Uruan LGA. Feel the Distinguished Senator ”Your Excellency, in Uyo Senatorial District we are campaigning ward to ward and in the course of that we have seen the jobs you have done, you are a good man, you are a performer, we assure you that Uyo Senatorial District will support you because you are the hope of Uyo Senatorial District come 2023 when it will be the turn of Uyo Senatorial District to produce a Governor. We thank you for what you ate doing in Uruan. I challenge Nsima Ekere to show me one road he has constructed in Uyo Senatorial District to warrant our votes, none”.Obong Paul Ekpo, State Chairman of PDP in Akwa Ibom pointed out that Gov Udom Emmanuel has been able to create jobs for the teeming unemployed youths through the establishment of industries, enhance the unity of Akwa Ibom.In his goodwill message, Hon Michael Enyong, member representing Uyo Federal constituency in the House of Representatives also saluted Gov Udom Emmanuel for all he is doing for Uruan people, the peace enjoyed by the people of the State while acknowledging the wastages of the immediate past administration and assured that Uyo Federal constituency will vote the Governor massively in the March 2nd election.Gov Udom Emmanuel noted that he is for politics of development, that all the deceit they have played on Uruan people has come to an end as his administration will continue to do more for Uruan people.Emmanuel said he promised to change the status of Uruan and by the grace of God he has changed the status as the LGA is on the verge of having a refinery coupled with the renovated Ituk Mbang hospital plus a cattle ranch and many more dividends of democracy. His words ”Uruan soon to be one of the oil producing local governments in Nigeria. Signing of agreement in place, first ever ranch will be in Adiadia. It is only in Nigeria that we consume evaporated milk but the cattle ranch will solve that problem. We are about to sign a contract for the relocation of oil companies head office from Lagos to Akwa Ibom, that is why we are so committed to complete the 21 story building complex”.Gov Udom Emmanuel had earlier consulted Uruan LGA traditional Rulers Council of his intention to serve them for a second term till 2023.In his vote of thanks, Prince Godwin Ntukudeh,  former Commissioner of Transport and Co+ordinator of Divine mandate thanked Gov Udom Emmanuel for the impact felt in Uruan by his administration in a very transforming manner. He stressed that Uruan LGA have resolved to support his re-election in the March 2nd governorship election.The well attended event had stakeholders from Uruan LGA and beyond in attendance. The campaign train later moved to Ibesikpo Asutan LGA.
