A couple of weeks ago, i was nominated alongside other eminent Nigerians as a potential recipient of the prestigious patriotic service award.
Although I was unavoidably absent at the award ceremony, held in Lagos over the weekend, as a result of an official assignment ; but I am super excited that i was voted as winner of the award in the scholarship and educational empowerment category. I received the news with so much joy, which ideally has pivoted me to think of other ways which our people can be empowered educationally.
I also wish to use this medium to congratulate recipients of various awards in other categories.
For me, the award is a unique source of motivation and will definitely spur me to do more to humanity in all aspects of life.
I dedicate this award to the almighty God and all those who have in one way or the other supported or benefited from the scholarship scheme.
